Hi! My name is Rebecca Lacau and I teach First Grade. My favorite part about First Grade is watching my students grow and learn. Throughout the year, we will learn the joy found in a good book and the excitement found in understanding numbers. We will learn about the world around us and about the role we play through Science and Social Studies. All the while, First Graders at Salvador will shine as Artists as we learn about Visual and Performing Arts. I believe that every child is special and can shine. My job is to find what excites them and bring learning to life in the classroom. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Dan, and our puppy, Roxy. I love going for long walks with Roxy, enjoying the scenery of the Napa Valley on a run, working in the garden, cooking a good meal, getting lost in a book, and spending time with our friends and family.
